    We are looking for a Learning Management System Specialist based in our Sydney office. Reporting to the Digital Learning Ecosystem Lead, the focus of this role is primarily to support the Digital Learning Ecosystem Lead, manage, develop and support CAANZ’s Learning Management Systems.

    Additionally, this role may evolve as CAANZ’s Educational Technology Ecosystem changes, and may involve administering / supporting new internal and / or external systems.

    The Opportunity

  • Supporting the Digital Learning Ecosystem Lead to administer and develop CA ANZ educational technologies including the Learning Management System, ecosystem add-ons and other educational technology systems.
  • Enhancing technology capability to ensure the successful delivery of the CA Program and candidate learning experience.
  • Engaging key stakeholders to define business requirements and user stories that drive utilisation of educational platforms.
  • Expert Advice : Providing technical support and guidance to members and staff in using CAANZ’s Learning Management System and associated systems, including the design and delivery of training programs and resources.
  • Enterprise Application Management : assisting the Digital Learning Ecosystem Lead to collaborate and liaise with providers (including regular meetings to discuss ongoing performance and product roadmap items) to ensure the availability of applications and the delivery of exceptional service to members and students.
  • Learning Technology Evaluation : proactively consulting with a range of internal and external educators and subject-matter experts to continuously enhance e-learning platform offerings.
  • Internal Partnerships : assisting the Digital Learning Ecosystem Lead to collaboratively partner with staff and content developers on course creation and administration, as well as developing usage and sharing standards for education learning objects.
  • Technology Enhancement : assisting the Digital Learning Ecosystem Lead to inform the enhancement, design and redesign of components of the user interface.
  • Essential

  • Demonstrated experience administering and supporting a web-based Learning Management Systems e.g. Desire2Learn’s Brightspace, Blackboard Learn
  • Exposure to Agile software development methodologies and understanding of learning theories and pedagogical practices
  • Advanced interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills and ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with all parties
  • High-level problem-solving skills combined with the ability to show initiative and to be adaptive and innovative in a dynamic and unstructured environment
  • Demonstrated experience in technical and report writing, the ability to develop training material and support resources and developing just-in-time training
  • Excellent time management skills to deal with multiple tasks and manage conflicting deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and to contribute positively as a team member
  • Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant / related field or an equivalent level of knowledge and experience gained through a combination of education and training
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in LMS administration and support in an education environment
