The opportunity

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Head of Learning Operations has become available within QBE’s Group Human Resources function.

Reporting to the Global Head of HR Service Design & Delivery, based in Sydney, you will utilise your extensive knowledge of learning processes and technology to understand and translate the motivations and needs of QBE’s people into positive changes in HR service delivery.

This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to a range of high-profile initiatives aimed at embedding a culture of continuous learning and skills development at QBE.

In this role, you will :

  • Lead on the identification, prioritisation, and delivery of learning-related service delivery transformation activity, in partnership with the global Talent Centre of Excellence;
  • Establish and run the global learning community of practice to maintain connections across QBE’s Divisions and align on the way forward;
  • Lead the delivery of learning-related process, content and technology improvements, supported by relevant HR, IT and Compliance teams;
  • Ensures all relevant policies, processes & procedures operating across Divisions are in-line with global standards in order to minimise operational risk.
  • Your story so far

  • Significant experience in HR operational delivery and driving the transformation of learning processes across geographies;
  • Solid understanding and application of learning management systems (e.g. Cornerstone) and digital learning and skilling technologies;
  • Effectively uses data to monitor the operational delivery of learning and the employee experience;
  • Strong facilitation, interpersonal, influencing and communication skills to build relationships and trust at all levels;
  • Previous experience of working across complex organisational matrices and / or in global / group environments;
  • A passion for delivering an excellent employee service experience with the ability to work under pressure against changing demands and priorities;
  • Lean or Scrum / Agile experience and / or qualifications would be highly regarded.
