The chef who fills this profile is one who has - Experience in woodfire cooking- In Dough making, pizza, foccacia and more- Bakery, baguettes, loaves, rolls etc- Seasonal meals, using local produceThis chef likes to be in control of a kitchen and prepare meals with care, it is not a high pressure environment with dockets printing every second.
This kitchen will be able to give the chef time in the day to prepare and cook the meals with quality control.
The chef can package these meals ready for service for the night and day. It's important to us that the workplace is always kept immaculate, the chef must maintain high level cleaning standards, and food safety.
Training and checklists of what needs to be completed daily will be provided.This chef needs to get a long with their team mates, be kind and approachable.
Being a small team it's important everyone gets a long and demonstrates with their actions that the food store customers and produce are a top priority.
This chef needs to be open to opinion, willing to trial recipes for the menu, get owners to taste these dishes, and keep working on that perfect menu with trial and error.
