  • BWM started its life from humble beginnings in 1996, initially run out of a boatshed in Sydney’s North Shore. The agency quickly established a reputation for working with Australia’s most iconic brands;
  • a reputation that rings true to this day. Our enviable client list now includes the likes of Qantas, Kmart, Toyota, Bank of Queensland, nbn and realestate.com.au.

    THE POSITION

    As Group Engagement Director, you will be responsible for managing and enabling a cross functional team with the goal of delivering outstanding, profitable work for the portfolio of clients.

    You will work with senior client stakeholders and deeply understand clients’ business objectives and industry landscape in order to make consultative recommendations around the direction of the partnership.

    You will play a strategic role in identifying and unlocking opportunities to contribute to client partnership growth. You will be responsible for managing a sustainable revenue pipeline and operational model for your team and the agency overall.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead a cross-functional team with overall responsibility for the health of the client relationships within that team
  • Understand the clients’ business inside out and become their strategic partner
  • Drive forward the agency’s belief in the power of brands and creativity
  • Solve clients’ problems in a creative way, with a range of traditional, innovative and tech-led solutions
  • Act as a senior leader and voice of authority in the agency
  • Manage multiple reports and several client partnerships, comprising multiple workstreams
  • Ensure best in class work and delivery
  • Strong problem solving and negotiation skills
  • Experience with new business pitching
  • Accurate budget, team utilisation, forecast management
  • Be a dedicated team player
  • Manage annual performance reviews and goal-setting
  • Lead team to deliver on revenue targets, manage team happiness and succession planning
  • Attract, develop and retain quality talent.
  • Build a high performing team where team members are consistently driving strong client outcomes
  • Provide clear direction, ambition and empowerment for the team.
  • Advocate and drive best practice and ensures work is aligned to client needs, and is commercially viable
  • Deliver work that drives business outcomes for clients
