About the role
As a Key Worker you will provide leadership within a team environment as a senior direct care member in our Disability & Support Services Team.
You will be responsible for assisting individual’s to meet their identified goals; mentor a team of support workers and guide and evaluate their work.
You will need to work within Key Assets policies and procedures and in accordance with child safe procedures and NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Practice Framework.
The successful candidate will
Possess a relevant tertiary qualification in Human Services and have demonstrated experience working with young people with behaviours that may be challenging in an effective and appropriate way.
Be flexible with working arrangements including 24 hour sleepover shifts in a client’s own home as rostered
Be highly energised and have a passion for delivering a high standard of service
Be highly committed, resourceful, possess excellent organisational, admin and communication skills
Current Working with Children Card and be willing to undergo statutory checks
