Position Summary :
Exciting opportunities exist for highly motivated Enrolled Nurses to join St Vincent’s Health Network Sydney (SVHNS) and support our organisation and broader community in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
We are currently seeking dedicated and experienced Enrolled Nurses who are looking to work in a dynamic and challenging environment to join our COVID-19 Clinics.
Currently SVHNS has three established COVID-19 Clinics that are located at East Sydney, Rushcutters Bay and at Bondi Beach.
SVHS clinics have tested over 50,000 people since March 2020. Successful applicants will be need to work flexibly and may be required to rotate across multiple locations in response to changing demands of the business.
Key Responsibilities : Communicating with patients on their arrival to the clinic, collect their clinical details and give instruction of the swabbing procedure Work with the team to ensure the highest possible standard of patient care Collection of Nasopharyngeal swab for COVID-19 PCR testing Knowledge of WHS requirements surrounding handling of human samples.
St Vincent’s Health Network Sydney : SVHNS is made up of St Vincent's Hospital Sydney, Sacred Heart Health Service, St Joseph's Hospital at Auburn and Parklea Corrections Centre.

Currently registered as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2) with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Demonstrated ability to work within the interdisciplinary team Demonstrated computer literacy with email and an electronic patient record system Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated effective time management skills and ability to prioritise competing workloads with in a complex environment Demonstrated customer service and patient centered approach to care Please note only short listed candidates who address demonstrate how they meet the essential criteria will be contacted.
