Description

He / She is responsible and coordinates the overall project procurementactivities in compliance with contractual requirements in terms of costs, timeand quality of the supplies, following ProjectManager instructions.

  • To prepare for itsarea of responsibility and to collaborate to the definition with the ProposalManager (transfer meeting), Project Manager, Control Coordinator, ConstructionManager and Project Engineer Manager, the Project Execution Plan and assure its application duringthe entire project life to reach the proposed target;
  • To cooperate inthe preparation of the Project Vendor List considering Project requirements;
  • To coordinate theassigned resources to develop properly the activities in respect of assignedmhrs budget;
  • To create and maintain,with the cooperation of / and coordinating the Procurement Assistants, theproject procurement procedures, guidelines and project procurement standards ofthe project;
  • To coordinate theprocurement activities, from the issue of Material requisitions up to thedelivery of materials at site and to ensure the Vendors’ assistance at siteduring construction and commissioning activities;
  • To controlcompliance of procurement activities with project schedule and budgetallocation;
  • To ensure theoverall project procurement coordination among the operational centres (othercompanies of the group, sub-contractors, partners, site) involved in theprocurement activities of the project;
  • To coordinate theissue of project procurement reporting towards PMT and the Client;
  • To supportPurchasing Dept in the application of liquidated damages to Vendors;To manage theapplication of back-charges to Vendors in coordination with Purchasing andAdministration department;
  • To manage, incoordination with Administration department the expiring of technical / performancewarranties
  • As a member of the department, the duties of Project ProcurementCoordinator are :

  • To providefeedback to the head of department concerning problems arising from applicationof standard methods and work instruction to improve the effectiveness andefficiency of the department;
  • To ensure theprofessional growth of the assigned project procurement assistants as perdepartment and Company needs and exchange experience with colleagues of theentire Maire Tecnimont Group;
  • Tokeep him / herself up-to-date about the specific improvement of the discipline.

  • Degree in engineering discipline
  • Work experience : at least 5 years gained in engineering companies
  • Fluency in English
  • Availability to travel
