This is both a digital strategy and implementation role, ideal for someone who is passionate about digital transformation, technology and enablement.
You will lead, develop, implement and monitor all SEO projects and initiatives, with a hands-on approach across technical requirements and capabilities, keyword research, content strategies, data analysis, design and development skills.
With a curious mind and strict attention to detail, you will present data-driven recommendations and insights that improve efficiencies, performance and deliver ROI.
This is a highly visible lead role, collaborating with multiple internal stakeholders to lead the measurement, analysis and optimisation of the website and digital channels to increase performance and share of voice.

What Does An Average Day Look Like?
No day is average at flexigroup but here’s an idea of what you can expect to do in this role and what you will be responsible for :
Own and develop the SEO strategy with a focus on continuous improvement, including recommendations for website architecture, technical requirements and audits, content, linking and other SEO best practices.
Continuously analyse and improve upon on efficiency and effectiveness of optimisation projects through a data-driven approach and KPI-driven analysis, monitoring performance for changes in trends, sharing insights and recommendations.
Cross-functional collaboration with the product, marketing and sales teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming, including competitor benchmarking.
Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code and implement third party tagging configuration and management.
Engage and maintain with third parties including agencies on any web and optimisation projects.
Manage the strategic improvement roadmaps for our various websites.
Analyse all digital assets to understand current SEO rankings and areas for improvement and new opportunities.
Inspire thought-leadership and be a subject matter expert on SEO fundamentals, sharing knowledge and best practices cross-functionally.
Continually evaluate and improve upon on the effectiveness through a data-driven approach and KPI-driven analysis, monitoring performance for changes in trends, share insights and make recommendations.
Document and communicate results and recommendations of all initiatives to stakeholders and senior leaders regularly.

For this role you will also need to have :
Tertiary qualifications with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar digital roles, with experience in the use of UX, SEO, CMS / DXP technologies
Experience in implementing a group-wide SEO strategy and roadmap, with proven results
Advanced knowledge of current and emerging SEO best practices, including available tools (e.g. SEM Rush, Screaming Frog, Moz, Brightedge) and actively research and review emerging tools and capabilities
Advanced knowledge of web analytics, including Google Analytics, Google Analytics 360, Google Search Console, Google Webmaster Tools
Strong understanding and experience in interpreting data to identify opportunities and report on insights.
Results-oriented and able to prioritise multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment and execute plans and initiatives with a sense of urgency.
Excellent communication, collaboration and presentation skills to showcase learnings, results, and capture interest and attention.
Curious, passionate and ambitious with a customer centric and process improvement mindset.
Excellent stakeholder management and prioritisation skills
