The Client

Our client is an Australian company that provides personalized signage and stationary. They provide these products for weddings and other special occasions.

They also cater to medium to large-scale businesses for corporate events.

The Gig

The client is looking for a Customer Service Representative. The candidate will be responsible for responding to customers via phone, live chat and contact form.

The ideal candidate should have flawless written and oral English communication skills, excellent attention to details, good active listening skills, and quick on his / her feet to come up with the best solution for the customers.

A Day in the Life

  • Respond to customers via phone, live chat or contact form to do the following :
  • Answer all inquiries about products, processes, deliveries, orders, pricing, billing and refunds
  • Help customers troubleshoot for any technical issues (products not working properly, etc)
  • Provide after-sales support to customers
  • Provide information and support to customers using the Shopify platform
  • Quoting, invoicing and basic Sign Mockups
  • Requirements include :

  • Noise-canceling headset
  • High speed and reliable internet
  • Updated PC or laptop running Windows 10 / 8 or Mac OS
  • A quiet and comfortable workspace
  • Minimum Internet speed of 10Mbps
  • Digitally savvy and a tech enthusiast, willing to try and learn new platforms
  • A backup Internet connection and computer
  • At least 3 professional references (including written testimonials from most recent managers / supervisors) who are not colleagues, friends or family members
  • Government-issued ID
  • Police clearance or certification
  • Amenable to use a time tracking tool while working

    Plus, they’re are durable, eco-friendly, safe and super easy to set up.

    You have

  • Outstanding English verbal and written communication skills with a neutral accent
  • Software savvy and ability to follow processes. Tech-savvy.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proactive and efficient
  • Must be amenable to work 40 hours a week during US Central time business hours
  • At least 3 years of customer service experience
  • Excellent phone handling skills
  • Experience in administrative support
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Experience in Zendesk, Gorgias or any similar software is an advantage
  • Experience using Shopify or any other e-commerce platform is a plus
  • Knowledgeable in Adobe Illustrator is an advantage
