The Position

St John of God Health Care has a new opportunity for a collaborative Program Manager to join our Procurement & Supply Chain team.

Reporting to the Chief Procurement & Supply Logistics Officer, you will be responsible for the management and delivery of the P&SC Program of Works in compliance with a Program Management methodology and will use governance frameworks that mitigate risk and deliver high quality outcomes to implement significant business change.

Key responsibilities include supporting the development of project plans, supporting implementation to ensure the objectives of the project are achieved and delivering on time and on budget.

The successful applicant will partner with senior stakeholders (Executive Directors, Group Directors, Divisional CEO’s and Hospital Management teams) to collectively drive the change delivery of an organisationally aligned procurement and supply chain strategy.

This position will be offered on a permanent full time basis, working 76 hours per fortnight.

The successful candidate will have :

  • A willingness and capacity to embrace the Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care.
  • Possession of a relevant tertiary qualification with a minimum of ten (10) years’ experience planning and delivering large-scale programs and project portfolios.
  • Experiencing managing complex programs of work involving multiple interdependent projects.
  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience within the Procurement and Supply area
  • Demonstrated ability to manage distributed teams with disparate skill sets.
  • Energised for a challenge and excellent problem solving ability.
  • Experience working in a team orientated, collaborative environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to articulate the business context of programs.
  • Ability to influence and build strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Highly developed time management and organisational skills with ability to meet deadlines.
  • Open to regular interstate travel based on program of work.
  • Strong commercial skills and acumen.
  • PRINCE2, Agile Scrum or equivalent Project Management qualification, preferred not essential.
