About the Role
This newly created role is an amazing opportunity to initiate change and make a positive impact. This role will be deemed the subject matter expert of Employee Relations and establish systems of work around the ER strategy, framework, and service delivery models.
You will work closely with inspirational HR leaders, to help ensure that the best organisational structures and processes are in place to maximise organisational effectiveness and build capability, as well as being the escalation point for complex cases.
While this role will be the ER specialist in the business and be responsible for identifying and mitigating risk, and run employment litigation matters including representing the organisation at the Fair Work Commission, tribunals, and Court proceedings.
Your scope will not be limited to Employee Relations, you will actively form part of the HR team and be a part of HR initiatives and projects.
While this role will not have any direct reports, you will still be a coach and mentor to key stakeholders by delivering contemporary ER / IR advice thus strong communication and the ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships is paramount.
Ideally you will be tertiary qualified with post admission experience specialising in Employment law as a legal practitioner, who has decided to undertake the internal pathway.
