We have an available casual position in our busy room service call centre .
The position holder plays an integral role in the provision of food and nutrition services to patients and guests as the initial engagement point with our department and services.
They are responsible for assisting patients as well as their guests and family members with meal selections via computer and telephone meal orders in a call centre located on site, or in person with patients and family in patient rooms for those patients screened as needing assistance.
Utilizing the CBORD software system, which interfaces with the patient electronic medical record they answer patient calls and enter meal orders into CBORD, providing assistance to patients with menu selections that are in accordance with their prescribed diet.
The staff member must be familiar with all telephony and computer operations, menu and diets and answers menu questions, reports process and quality issues to management and potential nutritional concerns to the Dietitian.
