A technology client is seeking a Link Building and Outreach Specialist (REMOTE) to oversee all public relations activities, outreach, and marketing content initiatives, across multiple platforms and formats, build relationships and make new connections while effectively marketing our content online.
JOB SCOPE :
Content creation from idea to execution for the website, social media, and other digital resources and media.
PR and outreach activities to promote content executions.
Execute backlink acquisition activities (outreach, communicate, manage content creation) in accordance with an overall SEO strategy.
Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within industry media.
Create effective pitches to compel industry influencers to include a citation and / or link in previously created pieces of content or publish an article, guest blog, and opinion piece.
Outreach and collaborate with influencers, journalists, website owners / admins, and bloggers.
Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice.
Use marketplace insights to develop written and visual content that engages customers and prospects.
Manage media inquiries by responding to messages, comments, and mentions on all platforms.
Work closely with the Marketing & SEO team to execute a content strategy that is focused on external link acquisition.
Create a database of a diverse range of clients through content marketing.
Conduct periodic audits by using a wide range of tools for analysis, tracking, monitoring, and evaluation of competitor link profiles to help inform and improve client link portfolios.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of the link portfolios you build and remove low quality and redundant links.
Develop a strong understanding of the products, competition, industry, marketing goals, and objectives of each of the clients you build links for.
Research and test new digital PR and link building tactics.
Prepare annual strategic plans and monthly status updates to communicate and document progress.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital PR, outreach, link building, and content marketing.
Thorough understanding of how content marketing, link building, and outreach fits into the full digital marketing mix.
Strong writing and communication skills, including on virtual platforms.
Strong research and analysis skills.
Experience with Google Analytics / Web Analytics packages.
Proven experience of link acquisition via creative content marketing execution.
Good understanding of blogs, blogging, forum commenting, and how search engines rank web pages.
Proven history of building relationships via digital channels (blogs, social media & forums) to aid content promotion.
Experience in using all the major social media channels including but not exclusively, Google+, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
Highly organized and proactive with strong planning and time management skills.
Can work under pressure and deliver quality work within tight deadlines.
