In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process.

Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.

Position Profile : Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital is seeking suitable applications from Speech Pathologists with Neuroscience experience to join the Speech Pathology team in the role of Senior Speech Pathologist.

  • The position plans and implements the speech pathology services in specialty area; assesses and manages routine and complex cases in allocated departmental caseload;
  • supervises and provides professional support and direction to junior staff; provides education to other health professionals;
  • monitors and ensures compliance with established clinical practice policy.

Located at the Queen Elizabeth II Medical Centre 4km from Perth city centre, SCGH provides a comprehensive range of clinical services including trauma, emergency and critical care, orthopaedics, general medicine, general surgery, and cardiac care.

    It is home to WA's only comprehensive cancer centre - the largest cancer treatment centre in the State - and is the State's principal hospital for neurosurgery and liver transplants.
