We are looking for a Unit Manager to head up our small to medium sized team, to be responsible for the delivery of 5-star experiences to one of our prestigious clients.
This professional individual will have the ability and know-how to take ownership of all aspects of the site and hit the ground running.
The successful candidate will be a natural leader with well-rounded hospitality experience and the capacity to manage all aspects of the site;
including and not limited to Boardroom, Pantry and Reception services
Oversee the day-to-day operation of Boardroom, Reception and Pantry services in a busy corporate environment in both Sydney and Melbourne
Be responsible for the delivery of exceptional food
Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic plans to achieve ongoing improvements
Liaise with the clients locally and globally regularly, to ensure we are providing consistent service at the highest standard
Hands-on role at operational level to ensure smooth running of site
Manage HR related functions - recruitment, staff induction, employee relations, performance management, training and development
Compliance and reporting includes and not limited to; weekly financial tracking, HSE audits, budgets, client reporting requirements and other adhoc administrative and reporting requests
Maintain excellence in food and service standards to ensure at all times a high level of customer satisfaction
Proven relationship management skills with confidence communicating to clients and peers on all levels; local and global stakeholders, Sydney and Melbourne teams, Compass Group stakeholders, and most importantly the on-site clientele
Proven history of financial focus to reduce costs and drive profit margin
Will have commercial acumen / ability to report on and manage a budget and form productive relationships with clients and individuals from diverse backgrounds
Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for quality
Excellent time management, organisational skills and great work ethic
Natural leader with experience leading a small to medium sized team including; recruiting, performance management, rostering, budgets
Minimum 4 years working in a corporate catering environment, with minimum 2 years management experience essential
Retail experience desirable
