    Roy Hill’s Perth-based integrated Corporate Headquarters and Remote Operations Centre (ROC) provides end to end integration of our operations, marketing and corporate services functions.

    Our Engineering Services leadership team is now seeking a Specialist Turnaround Maintenance to join the team.

    This position is responsible for providing coordination of resources, technical support and analysis of planned maintenance outages.

    Additionally, post assessment of execution from a safety and efficiency standpoint will also be required with a view to provide Continuous Improvement Initiatives.

    The position will need to incorporate all aspects of continuous improvement to build on a reliability centred maintenance philosophy.

    Promoting and fostering good relationships within the Roy Hill organisation will be key in enabling the Turnaround crew’s success.

    The position will also require regular reporting and communications both within the Turnaround Maintenance Team and externally to the broader business.

    Accountabilities will include : -

  • Support the milestones for the Fixed Plant Planning Readiness Cycle
  • Define, Scope and Deliver specific critical shut activities
  • Work with the Shutdown Execution team to find safer and more efficient execution methods
  • Improve and validate of Shutdown Performance metrics and reporting process
  • Support the Shutdown Improvement initiatives portfolio, as agreed between Shutdown Planning, Maintenance Execution and Asset Owners teams
  • Lead high value or high priority Shutdown Improvement initiatives, in conjunction with Shutdown stakeholders
  • Support Availability and Reliability studies for specific Equipment performance gaps

    For you to achieve outstanding results in this position, you will be an experienced specialist Turnaround Maintenance professional along with the following : -

  • Tertiary qualifications in an Engineering or similar technical field; or, an appropriate trade qualification with a demonstrated combination of training and experience
  • Demonstrated experience in Maintenance Positions within the Mining industry
  • Experience within Shutdown Management / Improvement
  • Practical knowledge of Maintenance and Operations of Mining equipment
  • Understanding of Project Management and Continuous Improvement methodologies
  • Advanced / Expert level in the use of Maintenance Management System (SAP)
  • Advanced data analytics skills, able to extract insight from complex data environments
  • Sound understanding of Materials Handling equipment and industry leading maintenance (repair / replace) principals
  • Able to validate complex scopes of work on Maintenance Execution and establish repeatable, measurable procedures and methodologies for Performance improvement
