    The opportunity

    Perform end to end actuarial reserving exercises and assist with reporting deliverablesPerform analysis into key drivers of portfolio trendsHelp deliver on the QBE strategy by collaborating with key stakeholders both within and outside of the actuarial functionBuild, maintain and improve monitoring reports covering various aspects of the portfolioTake initiative to recommend changes to actuarial assumptions and the reserving / pricing processBe guided by the brightest minds in the industry as you develop your actuarial and professional skill set

    Your story so far

    A university degree preferably in Actuarial Studies or with a strong mathematic componentCompletion of all the Actuaries Institute Part 1 and Part 2 exams will be advantageousIndustry experience in General Insurance is preferredUnderstanding the link between reserving, pricing and portfolio monitoringStrong MS Excel skills.

    Experience in SAS programming is preferredAbility to analyse, reconcile and extract data from several sourcesHighly effective communication, both written and verbal, with strong interpersonal skillsThe ability to work autonomously and solve problemsStrong attention to detail.
