Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud is seeking a Senior Consultant / Solution Architect to support the full implementation life-cycle, from scoping to deployment in an evolving ecosystem consisting of clients and solution partner.

The successful candidate will represent Salesforce Commerce Cloud as a Subject Matter Expert externally and as a client advocate internally.

Responsibilities :

  • Maintain expertise in Salesforce / APEX development and CloudCraze technical product knowledge.
  • Provide technical consulting and advisory services in the field. Services include technical workshops, design / code reviews, creating architecture designs, delivering training, short term development work, product extension / integration, solution optimisation and ad-hoc technical enquiries from implementation teams.
  • Help customers realise the value of the CloudCraze platform as well as maximise use of native capabilities during implementation and releases.
  • Provide ecommerce best practices guidance to customers, partners, and internal CloudCraze personnel.
  • Help create implementation best practices to guide implementation teams.
  • Support local Sales and Customer Success team members with new license or expansion opportunities for estimations, extensions, or advanced technical questions.
  • Contribute to internal documentation (WIKI), author articles / white papers.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with technical and business audiences
  • Approximately 30% travel.
  • Minimum Qualifications

  • Eager to work with a fast paced organisation and with a rapidly evolving product.
  • 5+ years professional experience in consulting or software development.
  • 5+ years experience participating in application development (Java, APEX)
  • 5+ years working knowledge of Salesforce OR working in project delivery.
  • Aptitude to learn the technical aspects of the B2B Commerce platform.
  • 7-10+ years delivering Salesforce technical solutions.
  • 7-10+ years delivering ecommerce solutions (e.g. custom, SAP Hybris, IBM Websphere, Magento) in an Architect or Developer type role.
  • Relevant current knowledge of hardware and operating systems, HTML, web (back end), development, environments, relational databases, data warehouses, middleware, front end, development, performance.
  • Strong project delivery experience, from supporting through to go-live.
  • Salesforce certifications in Administration and Development an advantage
