About the role?
The Account Executive is responsible for maintaining and developing meaningful relationships with existing clients by taking a proactive approach to all aspects of account management and service delivery and spending time meeting them face-to-face.
This role will see you apply your technical broking expertise to describe insurable risk, design appropriate insurance solutions and negotiate and manage the best deals in the global insurance market.
You will develop strong business relationships with our underwriting partners and promote the Gallagher brand within the local business community, the region and nationally.
To be successful in this role, you will have :
Strong account management experience gained within medium & small business commercial insurance
Previous experience in construction / trades / builders insurance will be highly advantageous
A proven track record of delivering results both financial and operational
Tier 1 Insurance Broking qualification
Proven ability to identify and develop new business opportunities to support business growth
Highly developed communication and negotiation skills
A driven, passionate and professional disposition
An enthusiastic team player
