In this exciting role as our Senior Analyst FP&A Overheads AMEA , you will provide global, regional, and local management with in-

depth analysis of overheads cost spending and trends, leading to the identification of opportunities and threats and recommendations for appropriate actions to address them.

You will be a counsel management on all financial issues with regards to fixed cost that affect business short term and for strategic decisions.

Some of the key accountabilities for this role will include (but are not limited to) :

  • Key impact
  • Managing the support relationship with the MBS Genpact Centre of Excellence Controlling team to deliver the forecast and actual reporting as detailed below;
  • manage forecast and budgeting processes ensuring alignment across Functions, BUs, Package Owners and central Overheads as well as providing best in class performance reporting to all stakeholders.

  • Tracking and reporting of all integration related synergy savings as well as working with Business Partners to ensure delivery of targets.
  • Prepare business plan presentations to be made by Global and also Region Management to Corporate, and support the preparation of presentations to be made to Corporate;
  • prepare scenario modelling and what if analysis, to pre-empt changes in financials by monitoring trends and discussing with business partners.

  • Support impactful decision-making
  • Regional management reporting process for fixed cost, ensuring all deadlines are met, drafting all review materials for Global and Regional President and Leadership Teams;
  • consolidate AMEA overhead analysis for Regional review of actuals and forecasts.

  • Robust monthly review mechanisms enabling improved insights on Region performance, analysing business drivers and incorporate into outlooks and estimates.
  • Own the Overheads reporting files, ensuring MBS Genpact Centre of Excellence deliver full and accurate bridging across all lines vs budget and prior forecasts for the month, year to date and full year.
  • Coach and guide the team on improving the quality of the analysis and business performance management, developing technical expertise in business analysis and contributing to a stronger fixed cost team across MDLZ and AMEA.
  • Partner in the Annual Contract and Operational Planning Processes
  • Lead the Annual Contract process for fixed costs, ensuring quality of process, system optimization and transparency of information.
  • Ensure quality and timely submission of all AC schedules, coordinating with the BUs and Corporate, ensuring that all deadlines are met.

  • Partner in the optimization of the global overheads tool.
  • Contribute towards the design of effective and efficient reporting mechanisms.
  • Effective guidance to business units and Functions for consistency and efficiency in systems and processes across MDLZ & AMEA.
  • Qualifications

    Do you have what it takes?

  • Degree in Business / Finance / Accounting preferably with advanced studies / training (MBA / MBM)
  • Must be Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent
  • 7-10 years of experience working across finance disciplines, with a minimum of 3 years in a relevant FP&A function with an FMCG company
  • Knowledge of US GAAP, accounting and internal control policies and procedures applicable to an integrated manufacturing and marketing organization
  • Demonstrated results in analysis, accounting, internal controls, business propositions, project management and cross functional team leadership
  • Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence, train and impart knowledge at all levels
  • Sound knowledge in Microsoft Office applications
