Cumberland City Council is a Child Safe organisation which was proclaimed in May 2016 and is situated 20km west of Sydney and covers 72 square kilometres.
Cumberland has a population of 240,000 residents, making it the fourth most populous Local Government Area in Greater Sydney.

Salary : Employment is under the Local Government (State) Award. The position is placed at Grade 5 of the Cumberland Council salary structure with a salary range of $996.
85 to $1,146.37 per week plus superannuation. Commencement salary will depend on qualifications, experience and competencies.
Conditions of Employment : This is a 12 month full time, fixed-term position working 7.75 hours per day rostered between 6.
00am and 6.00pm Monday to Friday. This is based on a nine (9) day fortnight. This position is expected to be located at Council's Auburn Long Day Child Care Centre but you may be required to work at any one of our 17 education and care centres across the Cumberland LGA.
You may also be required to attend training, education events and staff meetings outside of your normal working hours. All final applicants for this position will be asked to consent to a criminal record check.
