For over 30 years, this business has Imported, Exported, Manufactured, and distribute quality Asian foods across Australia and New Zealand
With a team of around 240, they are looking to expand their Sales capability with the addition of a State Manager, to help Manager their retail and Foodservice accounts.
This role reports directly into the Sales Director and is responsible for :
Developing new business by identifying opportunities with existing accounts and seeking new accounts venturing into untapped market segments.
Working closely with major Asian retailers in category development, driving sales by developing strategic direction and long & short term objectives for the division.
Leading a team across business development, account and territory managers to deliver profitable sales growth through outstanding customer satisfaction and a commitment to commercial excellence.
Regular communication of progress and reporting sales performance to the Directors.
Support and closely manage relationships with key buyers and build relationships based on reliability, friendship and customer service.
Fluent in Mandarin (please do not apply if you cannot speak fluent Mandarin, you application will not be considered)
8-10 years sales experience in the food
Experience in working with buyers at a corporate level and have the flexibility to relate to SME's
The ability to effectively manage a team of 6+ Direct reports.
Excellent verbal & written communication, negotiation, time management and organisational skills
