About the role

Your Opportunity As Key Account Manager you will play a critical role in the delivery of sustained and profitable growth in your region.

You will be responsible for leading strong relationships with key customer groups in your state and effectively engaging the wider commercial and marketing teams to deliver results ahead of the market.

  • Bringing a strong commercial acumen and high level of strategic planning, the successful candidate will work with the State Business Manager and regional field team to achieve or exceed the budgeted growth for the state’s key accounts.

    Innovation and energy will be required to instill the vision of Bacardi to your customer base and fellow Primos at all times.


    With our Consumer at the heart, your key responsibilities will be to

  • Manage key relationships within designated group of customers within the state
  • Lead the e-commerce agenda with key strategic national customers Booze Bud and Hairydog
  • Driving performance NSV growth, visibility and profitability of BMA brands within these customers
  • Maximizing the ROI on national and state based commercial agreements
  • Champion the national agenda for IBA and LMG within your state branches and customer committees
  • Leverage trading terms and promotional plans to deliver optimum business outcomes
  • Effective budget management for trade investment. activation, contract A+P and T+E
  • Collaborate with local sales, marketing and commercial teams to drive executional excellence
  • throughout your customers
  • Share best practice of local and national programs with counterparts
  • Actively identify new business opportunities and move on them appropriately
  • Lead meetings with key off premise accounts within the assigned area to develop strong working
  • relationships.
  • Be visible at key state and / or national events and participate where the opportunity fits our strategy.
  • Stay informed of customer and consumer trends; develop programs to capitalize on such trends
  • Skills and Experience

    The Skills & Experience needed to create your legacy

  • Minimum 3 years of Account Management sales experience - Off Trade ideally
  • A proven track record of performance and delivery in current role
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm, strong planning and negotiation skills in your current role
  • Well developed written and verbal communication, including excellent presentation skills
  • Exhibited a high level of commercial acumen in previous roles
  • Effective use of networking and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Computer literacy and strong administrative abilities
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
