About The Role
Live on island, full time permanent position
Modern Australian and Asian fusion cuisine experience desirable
Fast paced, high volume a la carte for breakfast, lunch and dinner
Venues currently available : Pool Terrace, Sails, Manta Ray
Maintain Hamilton Island’s consistent standards of excellence
Must have successfully completed Certificate 3 in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
Minimum 2-3 years post-apprenticeship
Experience with seafood and Modern Australian cuisine desired
Experience in dealing with dockets
Strong knife skills
Ability to work well as part of a team
Reliable and flexible attitude
Impeccable grooming and personal presentation
