Broadspectrum has recently been acquired by Ventia and we are excited to announce a new opportunity for a Contract Director with a firm focus on maximising the contract’s service and commercial performance, the role will have ultimate responsibility for achieving all agreed KPI outcomes.

This is a permanent full-time position, based in Adelaide (with travel as required) and reports to the Executive General Manager of Social Infrastructure.

Key areas of accountabilities for this position include but are not limited to :

  • Provide leadership and guidance to the contract senior management and delivery teams
  • Ensure day to day compliance with operational requirements
  • Deliver a service in line with agreed financial and operational targets
  • Provide leadership and guidance to their peers in the Social Infrastructure business in respect of the development of service within the Ventia portfolio
  • Work closely with the EGM Social Infrastructure to ensure strategy and outcomes are aligned with all Client stakeholders and Ventia
  • Set and deliver on the agreed strategic direction for the contract
  • Prepare and analyse monthly, yearly and essential contract management reports
  • Lead the management of a zero-harm culture within the contract
  • We are seeking someone who can think strategically and is commercially astute with the ability to formulate solutions to complex issues, as well as have :

  • Relevant qualifications in justice / corrections or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated contract management experience across prisoner transport, court management and security
  • Demonstrated experience in collaborative and consultative processes at a professional level
  • Sound knowledge of or the ability to rapidly acquire a sound knowledge of legislation and associated requirements
  • An ability to work flexibly and adaptively in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to implement continuous improvement opportunities and problem solve
  • Possess strong communication skills with the ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts
  • Ability in driving excellent Risk and HSEQ performance within a contract / business unit
