Swinburne's Student Engagement department seeks a student-focused individual for the role of Academic Development Advisor.
In this position, you will be responsible for planning, delivering and evaluating activities aimed at enhancing student engagement and academic attainment, and reducing student attrition.

Reporting to the Academic Development Advisor Coordinator, your role will be integral to supporting students as they adapt to tertiary study, as well as supporting the recovery of students who have been identified as at risk’ of continued academic failure or require early intervention’ to prevent academic failure.
The Academic Development Advisor will consult with students on a one-on-one basis, facilitate group activities and liaise with relevant academic and student support areas.
