Trade Marketing plays a vital role, where the focus will be to continuously improve the LEGO brand presence and campaign execution across trade through excellence in in-store planning, strategy, execution and tracking in alignment with the annual marketing priorities.
Support the delivery of the Company’s strategy across the retail and digital shopper landscape
Work alongside customer and national accounts teams to translate customer & shopper insights into strategies which drive performance.
Maximize brand awareness and consumer sales through impactful below-the-line campaigns, in collaboration with Brand Marketing and Sales.
Drive a strategic approach to the implementation of retail POS across all national accounts, based on shopper insights
Develop innovative POS concepts aligned with brand objectives and customer needs. Manage the POS agency relationship and budget Co-ordinate the artwork creation with designer to ensure an impactful presence. Manage the POP budget.
Improve our customer value with the goal of positing LEGO as the no. 1 toy retail brand through retail marketing implementations
Play an active part with Brand Marketing Teams, understanding accurately the brands’ priorities, pro-actively proposing initiatives to translate at Trade level the brands’ strategy
Communicate plans to overall team in a clear and effective way.

You will be part of the ANZ Marketing Team who excel in converting first class consumer and shopper insights into compelling, creative and innovative business and communication programs, under pinned by a strong commercial understanding and focus.
Trade Marketing plays a vital role in the success of our team and our business. As Trade Marketing Manager you will mange the overall below-the-line strategy and execution within Australia + New Zealand (ANZ).
This role strives to truly bring the LEGO experience to life, through impactful omni-channel activations and engagement with consumers & shoppers of all ages.
As Trade Marketing Manager, the main challenges will be connecting the global and regional direction and translating that direction into a local context, while ensuring that local brand, shopper + customer demands are also met.
Do you have what it takes?
3-4 years relevant e-commerce experience in a high-impact consumer goods company preferably within the toy industry
Proven experience in working and developing relationships with large mass merchant & specialist retailers in ANZ
Shown experience in working with, and negotiating contracts with agencies and external suppliers
A demonstrated, strong understanding of shopper driven retail marketing and / or trade communications
Ability to demonstrate and deliver best practices, high ROI examples of in store & online activated retail campaigns
Have a true shopper-centric vision in seeking ideas and identifying solutions
An excellent communicator and teammate who is able to work independently, collaboratively and cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
Strong ability to quickly adapt to any expected and / or unexpected change within the working environment
You love exploring new ideas, trends and possibilities and bring them to life in creative and innovative ways
Strong analytical, budget management and prioritisation skills
