Overview :

The Sales Executive, through direct interaction with customers, closes highly profitable energy deals. Sales executive will also maintain consistent communication with customers about Vistra Energy products and services.

Dynegy, a subsidiary of Vistra Energy, delivers more than just power to residential, municipal, commercial, and industrial customers across several states.

Responsibilities :

  • Meet or exceed company sales and customer service objectives
  • Utilizes business solutions and financial knowledge, executes competitive sales tactics to deliver compelling sales presentations to originate business
  • Use a variety of techniques and methods to assess customer needs and close deals
  • Independently develops selling strategies to aid in the closing of business
  • Maintains accurate and timely customer information in CRM
  • Develop business relationships at all customer functional levels
  • Develop proposals and presentations outlining customer needs
  • Maintain customer contact activity levels at or above established metrics
  • Works within the organization to ensure customer accounts are managed efficiently / accurately & customer issues are resolved in a timely manner
  • Perform other task as assigned
  • Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
  • 3-5 years of job related experience preferably B2B outside sales
  • Prefer 2-3years experience selling energy products or services
  • Strong interpersonal, conflict resolution, persuasion, presentation and negotiating skills·
  • Ability to negotiate and understand contract language
  • Capacity to work independently or as part of a sales team
  • Meet company objectives for contribution margin, volume goals, customer satisfaction, customer retention, and sales activities.
  • Adhere to ethical standards outlined in the Vistra Energy Code of Conduct while soliciting and servicing customers as a representative of Vistra Energy.
