The objective of this role, which reports to the Head of Distribution EMEA and will be based in Germany is to help expand and deepen the company’s relationships within the German Wealth Management & Private Banking community.
You must be able to discuss the sophisticated investment solutions that Dimensional provides as it is critical to working with and influencing our clients.
Just as important, the Regional Director must have strong business development skills and client centric approach as well as an understanding of the issues and challenges that the Wealth Management and Private Banking community face.
An ideal candidate for the role will be someone who can demonstrate the ability to synthesise and communicate complex ideas effectively and who enjoys developing strong relationships with clients.
Responsibilities : Have direct responsibility for key local client relationships and interactions as directed by the Head of Financial Advisory Services Germany Consult with new and existing clients on building an efficient practice while providing a successful investment experience Increase revenues, AUM and Wealth Management / Private Banking clients within Germany through the profitable growth of the Dimensional product suite.
Be a team-player and sales and marketing thought leader within the Dimensional team.
Target new business within the manager selection groups to Wealth Managers and Private Banks Assist Wealth Managers in developing their understanding of capital market research and of its application to portfolio management Sales leadership and management in Germany composed primarily of high net worth Wealth Managers and Private Banks Construct portfolio analysis and presentations for clients Train our client base in asset allocation and portfolio construction using proprietary software Engaging asset influencers and consultants in the Wealth Management domain Present at Dimensional conferences and seminars as well as key industry events Be a spokesperson and champion of the Dimensional brand and investment theory throughout the industry and marketplace.
Key characteristics : A personal alignment, understanding and appreciation of Dimensional's investment process, philosophy and business strategy.
Strong consultative sales abilities in building Wealth Manager and Private Banking relationships resulting in new business and raising assets.
Extensive knowledge and network of Wealth Manager & Private Banking clients.
Competitive but highly collaborative with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
An entrepreneurial spirit with high energy and passion; a self-starter.
Must have extensive experience (10 + years) in the Financial Services Industry covering Germany clients.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly with regards to conveying technical investment approaches and key Dimensional selling points in a clear and compelling manner.
Ability to present Dimensional’s products and philosophy to small and large groups.
