should have excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of meat quality,

cuts, and preparation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cutting, grinding, and preparing meats for sale.
  • Cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment while following HACCP controls and
  • procedures.

  • Weighing, packaging & pricing products ensuring waste is to a minimum.
  • Keeping records and inventory.
  • Performing quality inspections on meats and other products.
  • Adhering to food safety and sanitation controls.
  • Potentially greeting and speaking to customers, providing advice, answering
  • questions, and accepting orders.

  • Work closely with Sales team to ensure sales opportunities are maximised.
  • Assisting the butchery team with any other tasks deemed appropriate for the
  • business.Core skills required
