How will you make an impact?
From supporting the sales process for LCMS products including pre and post-sale work to marketing in ANZ, providing technical support and advice to the sales team, performing customer demonstrations and sample analysis and direct on and off-site customer support.
What will you do?
Help manage customer relationship from prospect to satisfied customer.
Qualify and prepare a customer instrument demonstration request together with the Product Specialist and customer if necessary.
Perform customer instrument demonstrations.
Provide in a timely manner a thorough, comprehensive, well written / prepared instrument demonstration report to the prospect or sales person.
The report may be presented at the customer site.
Must communicate clearly and quickly with sales colleagues and other relevant parties to ensure proper organization of a customer demonstration.
Monitor performance of LSMS and related equipment and ensure proper functioning.
Support LSMS Product Specialists in critical sales situations directly on-site and off.
Support sales and strategic seed units in the field.
Support Customer escalated sites as required.
Convert demonstration or collaboration data into applications notes or peer reviewed articles in collaboration with customers.
Provide on-site and off-site technical support to customers and collaborators.
Provide Training to customers at their site for new and existing instrument installations.
Attend conferences and other events in support of marketing activities to present scientific or technical posters and orals and in support of sales activities by, for example, manning a booth or stand.
Test new applications, workflows, instruments and software tools and provide written feedback.
Must work closely with other specialists both locally and within the applications-based organization.
Must work closely with HPLC / IC / SP specialists to continuously improve demonstration performance of LC + LSMS products.
Must work closely with the vertical Product Specialists in the Academia OMICS , Clinical, EFS , Pharma / BioPharma Markets.
Must work closely with service engineers, and service management to resolve customer issues and support customer needs.
How will you get here?
Minimum Five years’ experience with LCMS principles and operation.
Understanding of the role of LCMS in specific markets.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Good analytical, written, communication and presentation skills.
Good knowledge of Microsoft software and market specific chromatographic and sample preparation software tools.
Demonstrate clear understanding of business value delivered by LSMS Instruments and Software.
Sufficient technical and business knowledge to present a compelling value proposition to prospects and customers.
Utilizes regional resources to ensure they are properly leveraged relative to deal closure, probability and opportunity size.
Experience in Managing the complex Sales process and negotiation.
