The New Business Account Executive is an inside sales role, responsible for the entire sales cycle from prospecting through to close, selling into small-

medium sized businesses. The sales model is fast and high volume, supported by a high lead volume, requiring a persistent, determined and efficient sales approach.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to sales enquiries through various channels
  • Communicate with prospects to answer questions, uncover their needs and educating customers on product functionality
  • Handle a high daily call volume, including inbound and outbound calls
  • Conduct demonstrations and presentations to build value
  • Develop and maintain sales pipeline and follow up with contacts / uncovered sales opportunities regularly
  • Hit monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quota
  • Hit expected call activity metrics
  • Provide an accurate forecast
  • Document activity accurately in Salesforce
  • Qualifications

  • 2 + years previous sales experience, with proven ability to manage the full sales cycle from prosecuting through to close
  • Experience logging sales activity on a CRM (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Excellent communication skills written and verbal along with strong persuasion abilities
  • Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to listen, earn trust, consult, and ask for a sale with potential clients
  • The ability to work both independently and within a team environment
  • Computer literacy
