As a Logistics Support Advisor, you will build customer confidence through the delivery of exceptional service and delivery to both our internal and external customer base, supporting the delivery of our Domestic, Export and Co-Manufacturing logistics operations.
Your key responsibilities will include :
actively engage and manage operational process and manage Ad-Hoc situations to a suitable conclusion, or to a point of escalation to the relevant internal or external stakeholder.
Support our State Account managers to execute their sales plans via high level interpersonal skills and timely communication.
Effective management and detailed focus on Order Entry (Domestics, Export & Co-Man) and manage all required steps when requiredSupport the Export Logistics Team (LCL), Domestics Logistics Team and relevant 3PL’s in the day to day management of activity, ensuring that : All activities are completed efficiently and to an effective conclusioncompliance metrics (Pick, PGI’s and others as required) are managed with the relevant team to an effective conclusionComplete reporting and actions for any other logistics activity as required ensuring that data is correct and validSupport all enquiries, when made, to facilitate the ongoing exceptional logistics service models in terms of : On Time / On Day deliveryCustomer queriesRejected / Returned orders into warehousesAssisting in identifying improvement opportunitiesEnsure that Visit Plans and route to serve metrics are accurate and maintainedWork with other functions and represent the Logistics Team, where required, in internal meetings and participate in project groups as directedWork closely within the team and business partners to provide timely answers to internal & external queries
To be successful in this role, you will need to have :
Experience using SAP and other internal controls and processes.Ability to manage varying timelines and conflicting priorities across various workstreamsProven effective and professional communication to both internal & external stakeholders is of paramount importanceKnowledge of the industry and market which you can apply to servicing customersA basic understanding of business financial concepts and principles.
