About the role
We are seeking an engaging, safety focused Long-Term Planner Fixed Plant to join our Asset Management & Engineering Services (AMES) team, to support the Tom Price Iron Ore operations.
As the successful candidate you will deliver and continually improve accurate long-term plans, including budgets and forecasts, aligned to the specified asset class / area of responsibility maintenance strategies and relevant business plans.
Your demonstrated ability to engage, connect and positively influence will prove valuable to the effectiveness of this role;
as you will be preparing and presenting the long term maintenance plans and budgets to the operational leadership team.
Reporting to the AMES Superintendent for Tom Price, you will :
Actively engage and influence the wider maintenance and operations teams to improve the site’s safety, cost and production outcomes whilst ensuring longer term reliability and integrity
Widely engage and interface at a site level with supervisors and superintendents
Collaborate and partner with our extensive supporting functions to ensure best practice in planning & scheduling
Create long term maintenance forecast / projection for each asset life cycle strategy by using tactics to align major tasks with identified scheduled loss periods
Coordinate the maintenance budget process (ZBB) and deliver accurate long term plans / forecasts and reliability improvement plans
Complete major maintenance analysis
Actively contribute to the team’s development whilst utilising the RTIO asset management excellence development programs

A sound understanding of planning and scheduling with a solid understanding of maintenance work management, reliability and maintenance budgeting and cost control would be advantageous
