  • Achieve or exceed agreed sales targets in order to grow the business
  • Generate weekly and monthly sales reports based on forecast, sales and backlog reports
  • Issue quotes and service contracts before expiry in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Become familiar with service products and customer market segments, developing and maintaining knowledge on how to position the right product to the right customer
  • Proactively follow up customer conversations and proposals
  • Proactively assist sales by generating opportunities from current promotions through targeted phone calls to customer base
  • Run marketing campaigns for Consumables on a regular basis
  • Assist the marketing co-ordinator and sales teams with logistics for local marketing activities including trade displays and conferences
  • Ensure sales deals and customer specific pricing is updated in SAP
  • Co-ordinate the complain / feedback process between, sales, customer and manufacturing
  • Maintain high quality records that allow accurate and timely reports and metrics to be provided to the Sales and Service Leader
  • Assist the front line sales teams with organizing logistics for customer demos and installations
  • Co-ordinate with customer care on batch / stock maintenance and delivery of standing orders
  • Undertake special projects as required by the Sales and Service Leader
  • Provide market intelligence on competitor activity, products and pricing and customer trends
  • Be a proactive member of the cross functional sales, service, customer care and marketing team to ensure good internal communication and coordinated customer interaction
  • Generate sales in the area of (but not limited to) general consumables, upgrade kits and service contracts through telephone sales.
  • Provide Key Account support throughout Australia for clinical and research accounts.
  • Generate reports in SAP as per contractual obligations (on a monthly, quarterly or as desired basis).
