Overview :
The sales executive, through interaction with community leaders and brokers, closes highly profitable energy deals and informs community leaders and brokers of company’s products and services in the assigned geographic territory.
Responsibilities :
Closes transactions with new and existing communities offering electric municipal aggregation programs.
Prepares and delivers company response to RFPs for electric municipal aggregation
Develop and maintain strong relationship with brokers, community leaders, regulators and delivery service company personnel
Remains current on competitive intelligence to assist in development of price offers
Keeps abreast of rules and regulations in retail electric markets
Maintains program levels
Works with organizations throughout Vistra to ensure programs are managed efficiently and accurately while maintaining customer satisfaction
Prepares both internal and external reporting
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree preferred
1-2 years job experience in the energy industry or sales
Strong PC skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and various customer management programs
Strong interpersonal, conflict resolution, persuasion, presentation and negotiating skills
Ability to negotiate and understand contract language
Ability to work independently or as part of a sales team
Meet or exceed company objectives for contribution margin, volume goals, customer satisfaction, customer retention, and sales activities
