    As a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll and internal and external reporting obligations in Australia.

    The payroll officer must ensure timely processing of tax obligations and deductions and is responsible for establishing and implementing payroll policies and preparing payroll related reconciliations.

    In addition, there is scope and development opportunity within the role to participate in several payroll projects within the payroll team and to gain exposure to New Zealand payroll.

    This position addresses tight deadlines and incorporates technical knowledge of legislative requirements concerning employee entitlements.


    You will have solid payroll experience within a busy and multi-matrix corporate environment. You will be a self-starter and looking for an opportunity to really make an impact within a dynamic team.

    You will have :

  • Proven solid years of experience in payroll
  • Experience in general ledger reconciliation is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of Australian payroll legislation
  • Demonstrated experience with ADP is an advantage
  • Excel skills (minimum intermediate level)
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Ability to work across functional teams
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proactive and self-motivated
  • Flexibility
  • Knowledge of New Zealand payroll legislation including NZ Holidays Act would be advantageous, but not a requirement of the role.
