  • Due to an expansion in our services, we have an exciting new role for an Admissions Officer. As the face of mecwacare, this role will be responsible for providing a first and long-lasting impression for enquiries and admissions into mecwacare’s residential aged care facilities.

    The Admissions Officer will provide advice and support to potential residents and their family, ensuring timely and appropriate placement into a facility where the resident’s care and service needs can be most effectively met.

    To apply for this position, it is essential you possess the following :

  • Customer service skills and practises, as demonstrated by experience and / or qualifications.
  • Strong financial acumen.
  • Proven ability in lead generation, closing deals and achieving targets in a sales / property role.
  • Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills.
  • Initiative and high level of motivation.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong relationship building capabilities.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality in all matters.
  • High level proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel and Outlook as well as fast and accurate typing.
  • Current Victorian Driver’s Licence.
  • Desirable :

  • Knowledge of the Aged Care Act and Principles 1997 and other regulatory requirements relevant to residential aged care.
  • Previous experience in the aged care, health or real estate sector.
