YOUR ROLE

  • Manage the performance of the Production and Warehouse teams and individuals, including motivating the workforce and ensuring compliance with site rules and processes.
  • Implement and utilise digital technologies (SAP, WinCC and Delta V) to collect and analyse process data and drive data-based improvement activity and decision making.
  • Define, implement and monitor training requirements and programs for employees to ensure that all production and warehouse employees are trained to perform their roles, and that records of training and competency exist.
  • Drive continuous improvement in SHE, Quality and Productivity in the Production operation by leading teams in continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing processes, to build and maintain site competitiveness with respect to cost.
  • Establish and maintain process documentation to ensure that all documentation is current, accurate and highly visible / accessible.
  • This includes work instructions, safe operating procedures, and process orders.

  • Ensure production team compliance and adherence to the SHEQ policies, standards, regulations, and other requirements.
  • YOUR SKILLS

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a production environment, leadership experience highly valued
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry and / or Engineering
  • Sound knowledge of business information and process control computer technologies
  • Ability to analyse data and draw sound, logical conclusions with which to drive decision making
