Ravensworth Complex comprises of the Ravensworth Open Cut and Coal Handling Preparation Plant that provides high quality coal for the export market.

The operation has approval to mine over 14Mtpa, with a mine life to 2034 with potential continuation opportunities. Our equipment includes Cat 6090 hydraulic face shovels and 6060 & 6040 excavators, Bucyrus SKS / F Rotary drills, Letourneau L1850 wheel loaders, Caterpillar 797F / 789D rear dump trucks & Caterpillar ancillary equipment.

An opportunity exists at our open cut operation for a Maintenance Planner, to oversee the maintenance scheduling, budget forecasting and safety management within the Maintenance team.

  • Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, your day-to-day activities will include;
  • Scheduling of maintenance inspections and services
  • Scheduled services
  • Shutdown planning
  • Long term asset planning
  • Working closely with the Maintenance Supervisor and team leaders
  • The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, an overriding commitment to health and safety and environmental responsibilities and the ability to identify and improve processes and machinery efficiency.

  • You will have;
  • A trade certificate or tertiary qualifications in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
  • Demonstrated exposure to computerised maintenance management systems.
  • Extensive knowledge of SAP.
  • Industry experience or similar mining equipment and / or plant maintenance role.
  • Previous experience in similar role.
