About The Opportunity

As we continue to refresh, modernise and grow our iconic brand, we are seeking a dynamic and engaging Manager Corporate Communications who will be responsible for promoting The Arnott’s Group’s brand and corporate interests to a range of diverse external audiences.

Reporting to the Vice President Corporate Affairs and Sustainability, in this newly created role, you will work closely with the leadership team to shape The Arnott’s Group brand and reputation, as well as create opportunities to communicate effectively across a variety of channels.

Key Responsibilities

Identify media opportunities and develop innovative strategies to communicate The Arnott’s Group priorities via social media, online, newsletters, press releases and other channels.

Develop public positions on relevant issues and liaise with media in alignment with business strategies.Support business decisions and projects by providing specific and timely information and advice on the external media environment and stakeholders.

Deliver communications and strategies that are clear, relevant and effective in engaging with a variety of external stakeholders.

Develop diverse communication channels in traditional and social media as the appropriate means for communicating with external audiences depending on the nature and context of different communications.

Build and maintain strong relationships with relevant media opinion makers for seamless communications on business decisions and objectives.

Cultivate solid partnerships with internal stakeholders to better develop, coordinate, and facilitate strategic communications designed to meet business goals.

Stay informed and advise on challenges and opportunities in the news / media environment, with target audiences, on corporate and peer activity, and sustainability and social licence issues that impact the business.

Foster new ideas and creative ways of working to ensure The Arnott’s Group’s communications are always relevant and have meaningful impact .

Work closely with the consumer communications team to plan and deliver The Arnott’s Group’s key external events calendar.

Maintain The Arnott’s Group’s crisis communication plans and enact them if necessary.Ensure all communications comply with regulatory requirements and expectations.

You Will Have

Degree qualification in Journalism or Strategic Communications or related discipline.10+ years’ experience in a similar role.

Experience in the development of strategies and the strategic management of a range of communications initiatives, plans, channels and tools.

Proven track record of clear, accurate and grammatical writing and an excellent grasp of the English language.Demonstrated experience with traditional, social and digital media and campaigns (e.

g. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram).Professional experience in managing the planning, researching, writing, layout, coordination and production of publication materials.

Proven experience in complex problem solving and managing multiple priorities and projects in a dynamic environment.Great leadership skills, with the ability to inspire colleagues to do their best, grow their skills and encourage positive team culture.

Excellent research, analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically, innovatively and laterally to develop and implement new ideas.

Great time management, planning and organisational skills, with high attention to detailGood degree of comfort around data and analytics to develop insightful reports and inform evidence-based decisions.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic web content management systems experience.Good verbal presentation, group dynamic, and facilitation skills.

An ability to work independently, with urgency and deliver high quality work under pressure.
