Responsibilities

Completing financial statements, tax returns, activity statements and interim financial reports

Presenting to clients and providing simple explanations of complex concepts

Reviewing interim and annual reports

Developing expertise in efficient tax strategies, preparing forecasts, reporting, and advice on business structures

Supporting team training and mentoring (including transfer of technical skills and knowledge)

Essential

Chartered Accountant

3+ years experience in public practice

Experience in preparation of financial statements and tax returns for small to medium size enterprises

Strong interpersonal communication skills

Desirable

Experience or interest in working with primary producers and businesses based in regional areas

Proficiency in Xero
