Your responsibilities will include

  • Develop mechanical computer aided design activities (M-CAD) in support the Future Submarine CSI Program
  • Contribute to the development of Interface Control Drawing (ICD) Products to meet the contract milestones
  • Develop computer aided design models to aid in multiple phases of product development activities
  • Develop Engineering Drawings to support the program in accordance with the contracted CDRL format
  • About you :

  • Experience using 3D Computer Aided Design (CAD) software, with a strong preference for experience with PTC Creo Parametric (mCAD)
  • Experience in concept and detail design of mechanical structures, wiring harnesses and electromechanical assemblies
  • Experience in the development of interconnect diagrams
  • Experience with developing drafting drawings, with knowledge of Australian and international drafting standards
  • Any of the following is highly desirable :

  • Experience with Product Data Management (PDM) software such as Windchill
  • Experience with document revision control and configuration management processes
  • Special Requirements :

    Applicants are required to be Australian Citizens and hold a current or re-instatable NV1 Defence Security Clearance.
