We are looking for an experienced and energetic Trade Floor support professional to join our Tech Assist team in Macquarie's Sydney office, providing time critical technology support to our Capital and Global Markets business.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and thrive in a fast paced, and dynamic trade floor environment. You’ll need to demonstrate excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate and build relationships across all layers of the bank.
This team are the face of Technology, providing front line support for all work place Technologies and support requests.
The Team deliver a client focused service experience in a professional and timely manner. You will need to be able to quickly assess the client’s needs and translate these into action.
The role will see you working across all levels of the organization, your understanding of the pressures attached to working on a busy trade floor with Traders and Senior Business Leaders will be important to your success in this position.
You will be kept challenged working on interesting projects and take responsibility to manage some of these. We are looking for a technology enthusiast able to engage and communicate with all levels across the business while bringing value to the wider team.

We believe that for you to be successful in this position you will have at least three years working for in a trade floor environment.
While gaining that experience you will have developed knowledge of & interest in the business, whether that be equities or fixed income and the technologies enabling that business.
You will also have a good understanding of, and experiencing supporting, Market Data applications such as Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters Eikon (including RXT), Factset & Fidessa.
Experience supporting iPhone and iPad devices and management software. Experience using / supporting products such as; Citrix, deployment software and security antivirus software.
Familiarity and experience supporting IPC Turret technologies, Cisco IPTel, voice recording & WebEx. Demonstrate previous experience implementing Service or Process improvements, and automation.
You will have excellent written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to communicate and build relationships with internal clients across multiple divisions and geographies.
Curiosity, self-motivation and passion, a proactive nature, and the ability to challenge status quo and norms are critical for success in this role.
A sense of teamwork, and being able to inspire and work well with others is also of vital importance.
