The Role

As a Project Controls and Scheduling Lead you will develop and maintain consistent scheduling and project control methods and activities across all projects within your portfolio.

You will act as a central subject matter expert for the portfolio and provide knowledge and assistance to your colleagues on best practice procedures for planning, control, organisation and scheduling of projects as well as reporting to ensure we deliver on our contractual requirements.

You will also assist in the development of work breakdown structures, project performance and financial metrics, project estimation processes and cost and pricing submissions.

In addition you will ensure projects are compliant with the controls and processes you implement and you will be instrumental in helping to select a new project scheduling software package and other tools as needed.

Required Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge

Significant experience in project scheduling and controls, including experience with earned value management (EVM)Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing project controls proceduresHigh level organisation and reporting abilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsA strong background in either project management or project accounting is preferredAustralian Citizen with a current AGSVA clearance or the ability to obtain one
